This dedication has led us to collaborate with local artisans, particularly from Terengganu and Kelantan, who make their living through this art form.

Staying true to this principle, all of our batik series — from fabrics to apparel — are crafted using only high-quality natural fiber fabric in the batik-making process, resulting in beautiful batik pieces.

Our Mission

Chantek is a Malaysian batik brand with motif that sparks our memories.

We were born in a small studio in Kota Kemuning, in 2020 and today we are the trustable brand who sells 100% genuine handmade batik in Malaysia.

In fact, we are the second generation of batik apparels maker, known as Eng Hong Long Batik Centre in Terengganu, east coast of Malaysia, back in the 90’s.

Our mission is to bring the beautiful handmade batik from east coast of Malaysia to the wider community in our nation, and together inspire our younger generation to appreciate our heritage and tradition.
